- Διασφαλίζεις τη μόνιμη διαθεσιμότητα της σωστικής λέμβου
- Φροντίζεις την εξωτερική εμφάνιση του σκάφους
- Ανταλλάσσεις πληροφορίες με τον πλοίαρχο, τους αξιωματικούς και τους μηχανικούς
- Εκτελείς την πρόσδεση του σκάφους με επαγγελματισμό
- Απομακρύνεις με ασφάλεια τη γέφυρα κατόπιν εντολής του πλοιάρχου
- Παραμένεις στο κατάστρωμα κατά τη νυχτερινή ναυσιπλοΐα με καθαρή ενδυμασία εργασίας
- Καλείς το πλήρωμα στο κατάστρωμα για πρόσδεση κατά τη διέλευση από δεξαμενές
- Επιτηρείς τους επιβάτες και αποκλείεις την πρόσβαση στις σκάλες κατά τη διέλευση χαμηλών γεφυρών
- Διασφαλίζεις ότι το ηλιόλουστο κατάστρωμα ανταποκρίνεται στις ανάγκες των επιβατών
- Εκτελείς όλες τις ειδικές εργασίες στο κατάστρωμα και στους εξωτερικούς χώρους
- Παρέχεις υπηρεσία αποσκευών κατόπιν αιτήματος του πλοιάρχου ή του κυβερνήτη
- Συμμετέχεις σε σχετικές συσκέψεις και εκπαιδεύσεις

The company expanded into the American market in 2000, establishing a sales and marketing office in Los Angeles, California. Since then, Viking has grown to a fleet of more than 90 vessels, offering river, ocean and expedition voyages on all seven continents. Viking provides destination-focused itineraries for curious travelers, with each journey including a shore excursion in every port and an onboard and onshore enrichment program that provides deep immersion in the destination through performances of music and art, cooking demonstrations, informative port talks and carefully selected guest lecturers.
