automation technical support engineer

We are currently looking for an Automation Technical Support Engineer for APM Business Unit, to join our team.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to UTECO S.A. customers, regarding Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation product portfolio (PLC, HMI, SCADA, Inverters, Servo, Robots, LVS, Fieldbus and related software), both in-house (~70%) and on-site (~30%).

• Pre-sales technical support.

• Design and propose of equipment solutions to be offered.

• Conduct customers’ trainings & technical visits.

• Commissioning & debugging of equipment on-site.

• Design and implement key/strategical R&D projects.

• Reporting to the Technical Support Manager.

Your Profile

• University Degree in Engineering A.E.I. or A.T.E.I. (Automation/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or relative).

• 2+ years of experience in same or similar role (further experience will be considered as a plus).

• High level of PLC programming experience (LD, FBD, STL, Fieldbus, Open Standards etc).

• Experience with HMI solutions design such as SCADA and HMI panels.

• Knowledge & experience in servo / motion control systems & robotics, will be considered as a plus.

• Computer proficiency including MS Windows, MS Office, MS Teams, ERP & CRM systems.

• Elementary computer engineering & IT skills such as .NET, TCP/IP and SQL.

• Basic knowledge of low (Assembly, C) and high (C#, Java) level programming languages.

• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages.

• Fulfilled military obligations.

• Car driving license (category B).

• Availability to travel throughout Greece and abroad when required (~30% of time).

• Dynamic personality with team spirit and the ability to organize, control and manage priorities under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal & telephone communication as well as presentation skills.

• High level of professionalism and focus on customer satisfaction.
