The American College of Greece is seeking a Specialist – Support Services to join the International Student Services Office. The successful candidate will support international and study abroad students throughout their pre-arrival, transition, and on-campus experience, contributing to their smooth adjustment and overall engagement with college life.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide pre-arrival support to all international and study abroad students by answering emails received and managing all necessary pre-arrival forms.
Support the International Student Services Office through advanced administrative and operational functions related to student support, internal operations, and promotional material development.
Assist international and study abroad students with international program services and activities.
Contribute to the organization and implementation of events and excursions for international and study abroad students.
Develop, manage, and update social media platforms for the International Student Services Office to promote college life, events, and student engagement initiatives.
Maintain contact with all international and study abroad students, supporting their integration and adjustment to college life throughout their stay.
Assist with the administration and coordination of student satisfaction surveys for residential students at the beginning and end of each semester/session.
Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree
1-2 years’ work experience in counselling/advising, sales or customer care positions
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek & English
Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
Required Skills:
Strong customer-service orientation and student-centered approach
Effective Interpersonal and communication Skills
Attention to detail
Discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information
Team Work
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Strong time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally and ethnically diverse environments.
Other requirements:
Flexibility in work schedule to support departmental needs as required.
