The American College of Greece is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing & Communication team. This role will be responsible for managing and creating engaging content across all social media platforms to promote ACG’s brands, including Pierce, Deree, and Alba. The ideal candidate will play a key role in showcasing the vibrant community and dynamic learning environment at ACG through innovative storytelling and strategic content planning.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and create engaging content for all social media platforms to promote ACG’s brands, including Pierce, Deree, and Alba.
• Develop and implement a strategic content calendar that aligns with marketing goals and initiatives.
• Capture and share student and professor successes, as well as campus life, through dynamic posts and multimedia content.
• Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering interactions among followers.
• Monitor social media trends and analytics to inform content strategy and improve engagement.
• Collaborate with the Marketing & Communication team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
• Research and propose new creative ideas for content and engagement strategies.
• Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all social media platforms.
• Provide regular reports on social media performance and insights to guide future strategies.
• Provide live social media coverage for key campus events and manage real-time interactions.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in social media management or content creation. Recent graduates with strong capabilities are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong proficiency in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in creating video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and posting across major social media platforms. Familiarity with design tools like Canva is essential.
• A proactive willingness to explore and propose new, creative ideas for content.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for working in a team environment to achieve shared goals.
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to improve engagement and reach.
