The Frances Rich School of Fine & Performing Arts seeks a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses in: Jazz Dance, Choreographies of the American Musical, Musical Theater Skills, Introduction to Musical Theater.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Performing Arts, focused on Dance or Musical Theatre
- Extensive professional experience in the fields of performance and choreography and/or a Master’s Degree
- 2-5 years of teaching experience
- Broad practical and theoretical knowledge of dance performance and repertoires in jazz, as well as the 20th- and 21st-Century American musical.
General Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the English language (written and oral)
