The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join its Technical Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and management of maintenance activities, new projects, and equipment renewal across the College’s extensive facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Equipment Management:
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract execution for mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance.
- Oversee the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for all electromechanical systems.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of maintenance activities, faults, corrective actions, and system performance.
- Provide regular reports on maintenance status.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for maintenance and equipment renewal.
Project Coordination & Infrastructure Upgrades:
- Coordinate new installations, equipment replacements, and facility improvement projects.
- Oversee the embedding and design updates of electromechanical infrastructure.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance and project management.
- Experience in managing maintenance and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of quality assurance/control will be considered a plus.
- Familiarity with energy management systems and building automation is an asset.
Required Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects efficiently.
Other requirements:
- This is an office-based position with frequent site visits across the College’s extensive premises and campuses.
