The American College of Greece is seeking a full-time, skilled, and innovative Instructional Designer to join its team and contribute to the development of high-quality online programs aligned with ACG’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with faculty and Subject Matter Experts to design, develop, and implement engaging and innovative online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses.
  • Provide one-to-one consultations with instructors to enhance their course design and teaching strategies.
  • Lead the migration of courses between Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption for students and instructors.
  • Utilize content authoring tools to develop interactive and multimedia learning materials.
  • Apply research-based learning theories and instructional design models to create effective and accessible learning experiences.
  • Deliver ongoing training and support to faculty to ensure effective usage of instructional technologies.
  • Evaluate and improve courses continuously, utilizing student feedback, data analytics, and current best practices in education.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a closely related field.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in Instructional Design, preferably in higher education.
  • Extensive experience with various Learning Management Systems (ex. Blackboard, Canvas), content authoring tools (ex. Articulate 360), and multimedia production tools.

Required Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles and universal design for learning.
