The American College of Greece is seeking a full-time IT Services Support Specialist to join its Information Resources Management team. The successful candidate will provide Tier 2 support for computer hardware, software, and multimedia systems, collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to resolve technical challenges, and contribute to the maintenance of ACG’s enterprise systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Tier 2 hardware and software support to students, faculty, and staff, escalating complex issues to Tier 3 support when needed.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of IT issues, including user, software, and hardware concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of support activities for reporting and analysis.
- Provide technical support for printers, computers, multimedia equipment, and other IT systems, both on-site and remotely.
- Support and maintain multimedia devices used across the institution.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral.
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation with patience and excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with common office software, hardware, and operating systems (PC and/or Macintosh), including troubleshooting and installations.
- In-depth knowledge of desktop operating systems, MS Office 201x, and related office applications.
- Familiarity with Office 365 will be considered a plus.
- Understanding of multimedia devices (e.g., TVs, projectors).
- Basic knowledge of computer networking principles.
- Reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
