The American College of Greece (Aghia Paraskevi Campus) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Specialist to join the Office of Human Resources. The successful candidate will support a broad range of human resources operations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and institutional policies while contributing to the efficient delivery of human resources services across the College.
Main Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrator of the Digital Work Card system, ensuring compliance with labor legislation and the accurate recording, monitoring, and reporting of employee working time.
Manage the full employee lifecycle administration process, including hiring, onboarding, contract preparation and amendments, employee status changes, and terminations.
Oversee all HR-related submissions and updates through ERGANI, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage and update employee information across HR information systems and internal databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Prepare employment-related documentation, including contracts, employment certificates, confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence.
Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, employment documentation, and administrative matters.
Assist in the preparation of HR reports, audits, and compliance-related documentation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR administrative processes, systems, and record-keeping practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
A Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in Human Resources, Payroll Administration, or Accounting.
Demonstrated experience with ERGANI and the Digital Work Card system (Ψηφιακή Κάρτα Εργασίας).
Experience in employment administration, including contracts, employee lifecycle processes, and working schedule management.
Experience managing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of Scan HRMS and/or Cezanne HR will be considered an asset.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Other requirements:
Flexibility to support departmental needs during peak periods associated with the beginning and end of academic semesters, particularly in September and January.
