The School of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece is inviting applications for the position of Director for the newly approved Master’s program in Translational Biomedicine and Entrepreneurship. The Director will collaborate closely with two independent consultants and the Chair of the Health Sciences and Research Advisory Board.
Biomedical Sciences Program
Required Qualifications:
- MD and/or PhD in a biomedical field, with expertise in pathophysiology, pharmacology, translational science, or biomedical engineering.
- At least one degree from a US or UK accredited institution.
- Proven teaching experience, preferably in US, Canadian, or UK higher education.
- Strong research background relevant to the program’s disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong theoretical knowledge; clinical experience will be considered a plus.
General Skills:
- Commitment to student-centered learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
