senior modern workplace / digital employee experience (dex) engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and user-centric Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to join our team responsible for the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of our digital employee experience. This role is responsible for delivering a seamless, secure, and productive workplace environment across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. You will play a key role in shaping how our employees interact with technology—from endpoint management to collaboration spaces. In addition to hands-on operational responsibilities, you will also contribute to the architectural strategy and long-term vision for our modern workplace.

• You will

• Device Deployment & Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows and macOS devices using tools like Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and JAMF.
  
  

• Mobile Device Management: Set up and manage mobile devices (iOS/Android), ensuring secure and user-friendly access to corporate resources.
  
  

• Software Packaging & Distribution: Package, test, and roll out software updates and applications across all supported platforms.
  
  

• Meeting Room Technology: Install, configure, and support video conferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Polycom, and other AV solutions.
  
  

• Troubleshooting & Support: Act as a senior escalation point for complex endpoint and collaboration issues, resolving them efficiently.
  
  

• Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  
  

• Monitoring & Optimization: Use DEX tools and analytics to monitor system performance and proactively improve the user experience.
  
  

• Security & Compliance: Ensure all endpoints meet security policies and compliance standards through proper configuration and patching.
  
  

• Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation for deployments, configurations, and operational procedures.
  
  

• Architectural Contribution: Collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment with the overall IT strategy and contribute to the architectural roadmap for the modern workplace.

 SKILLS

 You Should have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
  

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in modern workplace engineering or endpoint management.
  
  

• Deep technical knowledge of e.g. Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, and related tools.
  
  

• Strong experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, and Android device management.
  
  

• Proven experience with video conferencing systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Polycom, Zoom Rooms).
  
  

• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash or Python for automation.
  
  

• Familiarity with DEX monitoring tools (e.g., Nexthink, Lakeside) is a plus.
  
  

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  
  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  
  

• Experience in contributing to architectural strategy and long-term vision for modern workplace environments
