Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests that will support the team and maintain the quality of our product, you will use Java, Selenium and Ranorex to create and maintain those tests and will run these pipelines in Jenkins as well. You'll work in an agile, fast-paced environment that values clean code, innovation, and teamwork

• Develop automated tests and set up those under CI/CD 
• Monitor and maintain automated Regression runs
• Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities 
• Write, review, and execute test plans throughout the development life cycle 
• Ensure test plans thoroughly cover all requirements and use cases 
• Actively participate in meetings of the scrum team, provide feedback from the end-user perspective
• Closely work with QAs and developers across teams on common topics 

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required
• Experience in automation testing or software development is a big plus 
• Coding experience in either of the following languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar is required
• First professional experience in working with Jenkins, Jira, and TestRail is a plus 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software
• Fluency in English is mandatory; further languages such as German are a plus
