We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner with focus on web technologies to join our product management team. This role encompasses leading product initiatives for our web application as part of the Remote Connectivity product, working closely in tandem with the Product Manager. As part of the Product Management Team, this position offers a unique opportunity to advance our web-first strategy while working in a dynamic, agile environment.

• Take over the role of a Product Owner of an agile team, and lead product initiatives from planning, release, and continuous development
• Shape and communicate the product roadmap with a global impact together with the Product Managers and contributing Product Owners within our Connectivity platform
• Be the Customers´ advocate inside the team and translate their needs into product requirements by defining, tracking, and analyzing the relevant key product indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that we focus on the most impactful aspects
• Analyze and classify customer and market requirements and independently develop creative ideas and actions by actively seeking qualitative and quantitative customer feedback, monitoring the market, and creating competitive analysis
• Ensure that the development team members understand the goals of the product initiatives relevant for them and that they are motivated to support these goals
• Be part of the agile product development process and oversee the associated flows jointly with members of various departments such as Software Development, Product Management[MM1] , Product Design, Marketing, Sales, and Support
• Support and advance the technical feasibility and intuitive usage of the planned features and functionality

Requirements

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or any related subject
• At least 3 years of proven work experience in the following areas: product management, software development and/or [MM2] quality assurance
• Strong command of web UI/UX design principles and technologies, as well as cross-browser considerations and security best practices
• Strong technical understanding and previous coding experience are a plus
• Experience with scrum and agile processes particularly in Product Development
• Collaborative and pragmatic approach paired with strong communication skills
• Ability to advise all key stakeholders successfully by making recommendations on commercial and technical factors
• Solution-oriented and flexible way of working with ability to respond effectively to shifting priorities, demands and timelines by using analytical and problem-solving skills
• Challenging mindset, questioning the status quo, pushing boundaries, and seeking innovation
• Ability to make decisions independently, recognizing when to escalate for more senior approval
• Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
