As a Manufacturing/Industrialization (Mechanical) Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, optimization, and industrialization of mechanical components and systems for our high-tech production lines. You will work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the industrialization of new mechanical components and systems, ensuring seamless transition from design to production.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with R&D to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
- Define and document manufacturing workflows, work instructions, and process controls.
- Identify and implement automation and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Troubleshoot production issues and propose corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.
- Work with suppliers to qualify new materials, components, and manufacturing technologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrialization, or production engineering in a high-tech environment (preferably defense, aerospace, or electronics industries).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, DFM/DFA methodologies, and production processes.
- Experience with CAD software (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and PLM systems.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies are a plus.
