Tesla’s Motor team is responsible for the design and development of the traction motors of all production vehicles.  

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who will be working as part of the motor team located in Athens Greece. As a member of this team you will work on the next generation of motors, selecting, characterizing and developing the motor insulation system and its materials. • Work on material selection and development.

• Design and execute experiments and laboratory tests to ensure their suitability and integrity.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to define inspection criteria and testing protocols.

• Support supplier development and audits.

• In depth investigation of failures and degradation mechanisms to drive corrective and preventative actions.

• Utilize your strong analytical skills to extract and analyze large datasets to uncover valuable insights and trends.

• Prepare critical technical reports, specifications and test documentation.

Τι θα έχετε μαζί σας

• Fluency in the English language.

• Studies in Electrical Engineering or similar.

• Strong physics background.

• Very good understanding of dielectric materials and insulation system design.

• Very good knowledge of electrical measurements and tests.

• Proficiency in interpreting test results and statistical data analysis.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups.

• A passion and curiosity for data and data-driven decision making.

The following is considered a plus

• Hands-on experience with dielectric testing, thermal aging and material analysis techniques.

• Familiarity with electric machine principles and manufacturing processes.
