lead network engineer

We are looking to hire a talented Lead Engineer to join our global team in Technology. This is a challenging, fast-paced and exciting environment, with plenty of opportunities to influence and grow the technology area.

As part of the Network Engineering team, you will proactively ensure the stability, resilience and scale of our services by automation, testing and engineering. You will play a pivotal role alongside all areas of technology to ensure that technical solutions are aligned across teams, deliver value to the customers as well as ensuring consistent monitoring, logging and alerting.

Technical skills 

• Deep understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and other protocols commonly used in enterprise networks.
• Deep knowledge of general routing, load balancing and switching.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues like network performance issues
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security measures.
• Able to review network design and architecture documents.
• Experience with ops culture and good understanding of metrics, alarms and dashboards.
• Design: strong network design skills, including the ability to design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of the organization.
• Experience using one of the major cloud providers - AWS/Azure/OCI/GCP
• Well-versed in network automation tools and techniques, including scripting or programming languages like Ansible and Python.
