The Outstation Ground Operations Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the safe, cost effective and punctual operation of allocated stations or bases’ operation.

This position ensures that all ground handling processes are executed smoothly, in line with airline policies, safety standards, and local regulations, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient and safe operations in direct Support of the Responsible Ground Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all ground operations, including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, aircraft turnaround, and other on-ground activities.
• Ensure on-time departures and arrivals by closely coordinating with internal departments and third-party ground service providers.
• Oversee the local ground handling suppliers and airport companies to deliver targeted performance outcomes in all areas of safety, compliance, cost control and operational performance.
• Ensure that ground handling companies, airport operations and ground personnel comply with the legislation, regulations and company’s safety standards.
• Lead periodical meetings with the Contracted Handling partners.
• Maintain and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and ground staff.
• Ensure compliance with airline policies, regulatory standards, and local aviation authority regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports, including delays, incidents, and resource utilization.
• Maintain effective communication with the central operations team, flight crew, and ground services to relay operational updates.
• Participate in internal and external quality/compliance related cross-functional projects.
• Support OCC and Customer Care Team in issues of disrupted flights.
• Ensure smooth passenger re-protection (rebooking on other airlines) and organize hotel accommodation and ground transportation.
• Undertake station visits and relevant audits/inspections/trainings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in airline ground operations, with a supervisory role at an outstation location being highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of ground handling processes, safety standards, and airline operational procedures.
• In depth Knowledge of SGHA structure and experience in Contracts negotiations with GSP and cost analysis.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs.
• Ability to travel when necessary.
