catering & inflight services associate

The Catering & Inflight Services Associate is responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and safety of all items served to airline passengers, while also contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the airline’s catering supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and address any issues related to product quality, availability, or delivery reliability.
• Implement inventory management systems and procedures to monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and minimize waste or spoilage.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery receipts, invoices, and inventory transactions related to food supply chain activities.
• Generate reports, analytics to monitor inventory levels, and assess supplier performance.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory compliance ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Plan and schedule deliveries of products to various airport locations, and aircraft galley stores in alignment with flight schedules and operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in supply chain logistics, food/product procurement or industrial catering operations.
• Knowledge in inventory management software.
• Critical thinking and in-depth problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability in data analysis, and being able to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible and well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Proficiency Knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excell.
