We are currently looking for a Accountant to join our Accounting Team in SKY express, based in Athens. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely accounting postings, reconciliations, and compliance, using the SAP and focusing on transaction posting and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, perform customer and supplier reconciliations, participate in the billing process, and ensure various files are accurately aligned with the General Ledger.
Post accounting entries in SAP promptly while maintaining complete and accurate supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and all company tax obligations.
Support month-end and year-end closings with strict adherence to accounting and internal control requirements.
Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting and related documentation.
Participate in ad hoc projects and provide support across all accounting activities as required.

High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail in posting and reconciliation.
Analytical mindset combined with a solution-oriented approach.
Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
Commitment to timely delivery and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Up to 3 years of working experience in Accounting. Prior experience in Big 4 Audit accounting firm or travel industry will be considered an asset.
Fluency in Greek and English (spoken and written).
Proficient in IT (MS Office suite, including advanced Excel). Proven experience working with ERP systems (SAP ERP is preferred).
