- Εφαρμόζεις πρακτικές CI/CD για την ανάπτυξη και την έκδοση των APIs
- Προετοιμάζεις τεχνική τεκμηρίωση, οδηγίες και βέλτιστες πρακτικές
- Ενημερώνεσαι συνεχώς για τεχνολογίες ολοκλήρωσης, πρότυπα API και ενημερώσεις προϊόντων IBM
Βασικές προϋποθέσεις
- 3+ χρόνια εμπειρίας
- Εμπειρία με IBM API Connect και διαχείριση κύκλου ζωής API
- Γνώση REST APIs, API security standards όπως OAuth2.0 και JWT
- Γνώση και εμπειρία με DataPower Gateway
- Δεξιότητες σε JavaScript και Python για scripting και ανάπτυξη
- Κατανόηση CI/CD pipelines και χρήση εργαλείων όπως Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Εμπειρία με JSON, XML και τεκμηρίωση API

Περιγραφή Θέσης
We are looking for an IBM API Connect Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs using IBM API Connect. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust integration solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless communication across systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, and manage APIs using IBM API Connect, including API creation, assembly flows, and product lifecycle management.
Configure and maintain components of the API Connect ecosystem (API Manager, Developer Portal, Gateway, Analytics).
Collaborate with architects, backend teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient API solutions.
Ensure governance, security, and access control through policies, OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize integrations for scalability and reliability.
Implement CI/CD practices for API deployment and versioning.
Prepare technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
Stay up to date with integration technologies, API standards, and IBM product updates.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience working with IBM API Connect or similar API management platforms.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, API lifecycle management, and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with API security standards (OAuth2.0, JWT, TLS, Mutual TLS).
Familiarity with DataPower Gateway configuration and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in scripting or development using JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Experience with JSON, XML, and API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, enterprise environments.
