Financial Reporting & Controlling Associate

to join our team in Marousi.

Sidenor Group is looking for Financial Reporting & Controlling Associate. As the Financial Reporting & Controlling Associate, you will report to the Financial Reporting & Controlling Manager, and you will assist in the preparation of GR standalone financial statements and in the Group consolidation process.

 What you will need to do:

• Assist in the preparation of the standalone financial statements for GR entities on a monthly basis

• Assist in the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis

• Actively participate in the statutory reporting process on a semi-annual and annual basis delivered to the parent company

• Actively participate in all year-end closing procedures and prepare the financial statements for GR entities based on IFRS   

• Assist in handling requests and inquiries from external & internal auditors

• Provide support on regular and ad-hoc requests of the Parent company

• Provide support on budgeting/forecasting activities and the preparation of internal presentations as well as presentations to the parent company

• Support the Controlling Team’s initiatives and policies aiming at improving financial growth

• Liaise with the IT department to implement reporting improvements on SAP ERP and/or  internal reporting tools

Your role:

      •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

      • MSc in Accounting/Finance would be considered an asset

      • Sap Knowledge would be considered an asset

     •  Maximum 3 years of experience in a similar role

     • Excellent communication skills (Greek & English)

     • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office

     • Excellent communication, cooperation, and organizational skills
