Sovel member of Sidenor Group, is looking for an Electrical Engineer for its SOVEL Steel Plant in Almyros-Magnesia. As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the overall electrical maintenance of our production process. You are dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating enthusiasm and high motivation to develop fast and picking up new skills and talents go.

What you will need to do:

• Follow Health & Safety regulations in accordance with the company’s policies and standards

• Coordinate activities with production, maintenance and quality control departments to improve the production process.

• Perform and Oversee Corrective and Preventative Maintenance activities on all Electrical equipment

• Participate, Monitor and Control the Progress of Maintenance Works

• Upgrade, Maintain & Provide Technical Support for existing Electrical Control Systems

• Diagnose breakdown problems and provide assistance to Electrical Maintenance and Automation personnel with troubleshooting in order to minimize downtime

• Oversee project scheduling and maintenance planning and provide technical supervision for electrical upgrade and expansion projects.

• Create or Modify Electrical Equipment Maintenance Plans and Manuals

Your Profile:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Member of Technical Chamber of Greece).

• 2+ years prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset

• Health & Safety Culture

• Excellent command of MS Office Applications

• Familiarity with automation software and hardware will be considered an asset.

• Good understanding of Electrical Design and Drawings (knowledge of CAD software, preferably AutoCAD or EPLAN will be considered an asset)
