Our Tech Department operates with the Spotify Model (Tribes & Chapters), ensuring autonomy within Squads while fostering technical excellence through Chapters. We run on Agile/Scrum with 2-week sprints and we are obsessed with clean code and scalability.

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will join one of our cross-functional Squads to build new features for our flagship app. You will also play a key role in the Android Chapter, driving architectural decisions and mentoring younger engineers.

🧩 What You Will Do

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, BAs, Designers, QA) to define and ship new features.

• Architect maintainable and scalable solutions (Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI).

• Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and Chapter meetups.

• Contribute to our CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth releases.

✅ Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Android Development.

• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK.

• Familiarity with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger).

• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow).

• Experience with Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito) and UI Testing (Espresso).

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

• Strong understanding of code versioning tools (Git).

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.

• Experience in high-traffic Marketplaces or E-commerce apps.
