SCYTALYS is currently looking for a skilled UI/UX Product Designer, passionate about their field of work.

About the role / Responsibilies:

As a Product Designer (UI/UX), you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals dedicated to designing and developing cutting-edge products for the defense industry. This role requires a self-motivated and proactive mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and optimize user experiences across multiple products and projects, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
• Working closely with the design team to contribute to the overall UI/UX vision and strategy.
• Collaborating with other UI/UX designers, product managers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design interfaces that align with user needs and business goals while adhering to established design guidelines.
• Ensuring user interfaces are visually appealing, user-friendly, efficient, and consistent across products.
• Conducting user research to inform design decisions and presenting findings in an understandable way.
• Taking ownership of design projects, from wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity designs, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
• Documenting user interface designs using company-approved tools (e.g., Figma).
• Staying up to date with the latest UI design trends and technologies and recommending improvements for existing products.
• Participating in the selection of tools and methodologies as well as contributing to new product concept creation.
• Gathering and analyzing user feedback through usability testing and feedback sessions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least two years of proven experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating design work across various devices (PC, Tablet, Smartphones) and complex applications.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, UX best practices, and design systems.
• Strong UI design skills, including color theory, typography, and layout.
• Hands-on experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (or similar software).
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.

Desirable skills:

• Experience in user research, usability testing, and handling user feedback.
• Experience working with design systems using design tokens.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Experience working collaboratively in a UI/UX team.
• Proficiency with additional design tools.
