Rontis Hellas SA, a Greek multinational healthcare company, active in the field of specialty healthcare (R&D, production, international promotion and distribution of pharmaceuticals & medical devices), is seeking to employ a highly skilled and experienced:

 Quality Control Officer, Medical Devices

 The Quality Control (QC) Officer is responsible for performing tests, measurements and inspections, for recording and analyzing data, for collaborating closely with other departments for addressing quality issues and implementing improvements. The role is located at company’s manufacturing site in Larissa, Greece.

Key responsibilities – main job duties include the following

:

• Supports quality control testing in laboratory, production and facility’s areas (material and products sampling, quality control, calibration activities etc.)

• Assists in investigating product complaints and assists in taking appropriate action

• Assists in investigating quality issues during production related to the produced product as far as the quality and the performance

• Assists in carrying out QC studies related with the products produced on site and QC studies concerning the infrastructure (g. sterilization validation studies etc.)

• Supports microbiological testing and sterilization control processes

• Supports internal & external audits needs, assists in CAPA plan establishment, root-cause analysis, investigation and follow-up.

• Collaborates with medical device production team to ensure quality is integrated into all production processes and phases

• Participates in the preparation and review of SOPs, Procedures, work instructions and relevant documents

• Participates in change control forms issuance and follow up in cooperation with QC Manager, Medical Devices

• Interacts closely with Production, R&D, QA/RA and Compliance departments

Requirements

:

• University Level Degree in chemistry, microbiology, biology or a related field

• Prior experience in the wider laboratory field (microbiology control, HPLC, GC); three (3) years of full-time laboratory experience will be considered a plus

• Prior experience in the wider pharmaceutical or medical device field will be considered a plus

• Solid knowledge and understanding of ISO standards, GMP, GLP

• Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines

• Ability to research, digest, analyze and present data clearly and concisely

• Responsible, pays attention to detail, demonstrates speed and accuracy

• Positive personality, energetic

• Multi-tasking, demonstrating flexibility

• Excellent oral & written communication skills in both Greek & English language

• Computer literacy
