Job brief

Our Accounting team is growing, and we are looking for an Accountant to support daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations and transactions of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger payroll and utilities, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity

• Monitor accounting data and produce financial reports or statements (for all operations, incl. warehouse and manufacturing)

• Meet financial accounting objectives

• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Requirements & Skills

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

• At least 2 years proven experience in relevant position, preferably in a manufacturing company

• IFRS knowledge is a plus

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
