We're currently looking for a passionate and skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing a variety of WordPress sites for our diverse client base.
As a WordPress Developer you will:
Develop and manage WordPress sites from conception to launch, ensuring they are high-performing, secure, and easy to manage.
Use WordPress as a low-code platform, leveraging your deep understanding of the CMS to make strategic decisions on plugins, themes, and integrations.
Manage website security, updates, and backups to ensure a stable and reliable online presence.
Work with Elementor Pro for building and customizing high-quality, responsive websites.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal marketing/SEO teams. You'll be a key part of the conversation, guiding them toward the best solutions for their goals.
Take a holistic approach to web development, considering SEO, tracking, and overall performance in every project.
Job requirements
What you will bring:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
Excellent knowledge of the WordPress CMS, including its structure, functions, and best practices.
Experience with popular page builders like Elementor Pro.
A strategic mindset for choosing plugins and themes that balance functionality, security, and performance.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom tweaks and troubleshooting.
A strong understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to website development.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to guide and educate clients and colleagues.
A curious, generalist approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with Shopify. We'll provide training, but any prior knowledge is a huge plus.
Custom theme and template development skills.
