As an Atlassian Services Project Manager, you will oversee end-to-end delivery of Atlassian implementation, migration, and optimization projects — ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer goals and best practices. You will work closely with clients, technical consultants, and internal stakeholders to drive project success, ensuring exceptional service quality and long-term customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead Atlassian solution delivery projects (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, etc.) from initiation through closure, managing scope, timelines, and budgets. 
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including solution architects, technical consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. 
- Define and document project scope, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and the technical team. 
- Manage client expectations and proactively engage with stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle. 
- Apply and adapt the company’s Project Delivery Framework to fit each project’s environment, methodology (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall), and scale. 
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, ensuring proactive management and transparent communication. 
- Handle change requests efficiently, balancing customer needs and delivery constraints while maintaining project governance standards. 
- Monitor progress and success metrics, report key milestones and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders, and escalate as needed. 
- Develop executive-level project reports and presentations for clients and internal management. 
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Service Delivery Leads to ensure project health, client satisfaction, and opportunities for service improvement or expansion. 
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in project management practices and Atlassian service delivery processes. 
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing IT implementation or service delivery projects — preferably in software, consulting, or ITSM/DevOps environments. 
- Proven experience with Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management) — configuration or project-level experience required. 
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certification is considered a strong asset. 
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a structured approach to issue resolution. 
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams. 
- Comfortable working in dynamic, changing environments with evolving client needs. 
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. 
- Experience in consulting or professional services delivery preferred. 
- Experience in migration or integration projects (e.g., Jira Cloud migration, Legacy ITSM tools-to-Jira transitions) is a plus. 
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements or team collaboration.
