The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the country HR team within the Red Bull business by providing professional operational HR services that are aligned with the regional and global HR Strategy. The role forms part of the country management team and will use insight and expertise to advise, influence and execute both the business and people objectives including identifying initiatives that will enable business performance. They will ensure that all HR requirements in the country are met by providing globally aligned services as well as understanding the business beyond the HR function to ensure superior business outcomes.

BUSINESS PARTNER
Work as part of the management team, leading and advising on people-related topics (together with the GM), including identifying opportunities, plans, and actions to achieve and exceed business goals.
Advise, coach, and empower managers to lead their teams and take responsibility for all people-related topics. Influence key stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are met.
Provide insights and analysis on people-related measures to guide and develop key people focus areas.
Manage and lead the HR team with the right people and structure to enable high performance through our philosophies and tools.
Take full responsibility for developing and managing a globally aligned local HR plan and budget, alongside the requirements of the global HR calendar (e.g., business planning, salary review, workforce planning, etc.).
Work closely with the Regional HR Manager for CEE to gain support, direction, guidance, and global alignment on relevant topics.
Build and maintain meaningful internal local, internal global, and external local networks.
Lead the business planning (BP) and revised estimate (RE) cycles for HR, including workforce and personnel cost planning.
TALENT MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
Drive the global talent management approach in your local country in conjunction with managers by managing talent to create an environment in which all individuals can realize their potential (e.g., performance management, succession preparation, support individual development planning and coaching).
Ensure the performance management philosophy and tools are implemented and provide support to managers where required.
Support and implement global training initiatives on all relevant people development topics.
Support teams and individuals in using our cutting-edge tools to understand and work on their engagement.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS (C&B)
Understand and drive Red Bull’s compensation and benefits philosophy within the local country.
Upskill, advise, and empower managers with the right training and tools to help them make informed compensation decisions.
Manage the annual salary review process, including budgeting, planning, and activation.
Proactively provide information and insights on market trends, using our global data provider (e.g., Mercer), to ensure the local C&B approach aligns with the company’s compensation philosophy.
Oversee all relevant benefits and reward programs, reviewing market trends and implementing new initiatives as needed.
Oversee the payroll function to ensure all requirements are met, including audit and compliance (e.g., benefits).
Ensure all C&B practices in the local country comply with global guidelines.
RECRUITMENT
Ensure a first-class recruitment and selection experience (including onboarding) for both candidates and hiring managers.
Identify innovative methods to attract talent within the local market.
Partner with hiring managers to gather accurate information for recruitment processes, ensuring targeted and quality recruitment.
Use market-relevant sourcing channels to achieve favorable outcomes in cost, quality, and time.
Conduct professional, performance/strengths-based interviews using tools such as Red Bull Wingfinder, case studies, reference checks, and, if required, background screening.
Analyze recruitment outcomes and improvement areas, developing targeted recruitment initiatives aligned with the global approach.
Support and activate Red Bull Wingfinder both internally and externally.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Stay updated on employment legislation and ensure local employment contracts, guidelines, and benefits are aligned with key stakeholders and updated as necessary (including data privacy requirements).
Ensure HR policies are communicated promptly and comply with local requirements.
Manage local employment relations topics (e.g., disciplinary actions, terminations, and addressing poor performance) in line with local and global policies.
Seek external legal advice when needed to manage potential risks.
SYSTEMS & DATA
Act as the local owner and user of all global and local HR systems and HR data, including SAP HR, SmartRecruiters, Anaplan, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Training Management System, Ergani, etc.
Ensure local HR key users are trained (in collaboration with the Area HRIS and data teams) and actively manage all systems with exceptional data quality.
Ensure all HR data, systems, and processes comply with relevant data privacy legislation.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
Minimum 5 years HR generalist/business partner experience preferably within the FMCG sector with experience in a matrix environment & global organization working closely with senior leaders including the General Manager.
Proven success in executing HR strategy at a national level and in developing local HR plans in line with the national business plan priorities.
Experience in project and change management both influencing the change and implementing initiatives.
Experience working with HR Information Systems (e.g., SAP HR, Smart Recruiters, Anaplan).
Previous team management experience preferred.
Experience in identifying and analyzing HR and business data to recommend HR initiatives that will drive business objectives.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multi-task and coordinate with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in both English and Greek, including presentation and training/facilitation skills.
