maintenance technician

Support the Maintenance Team in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of machinery and equipment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and servicing automated plant machinery to minimize downtime.

• Provide support during equipment or machinery repairs.

• Help identify and analyze equipment failures and contribute to corrective actions.

• Support technical training sessions for team members.

• Assist in coordinating work performed by outside contractors and vendors.

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and good working practices.

• Monitor operations and report any issues to senior technicians.

• Participate in maintaining high standards of Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Information Security policies.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding.

• Attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under guidance.

• Willingness to work on an on-call schedule.

• Ability to work in shifts.

• Teamwork spirit, transparency, and results orientation.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
