As a Mid Back End Developer at Q&R S.A., you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services for enterprise projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Front-End, BA-QA) and be exposed to modern practices such as AI-driven automation to improve development efficiency and code quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain Java Services: Implement and optimize Spring Boot-based backend solutions, ensuring clean, secure, and efficient code

• Enhance Code Quality & Performance: Contribute to reusable libraries, peer code reviews, automated quality checks (e.g., SonarQube), and database optimization (Oracle, Postgres)

• Testing & Documentation: Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit, Mockito), follow TDD principles, and document backend development for clarity and maintainability

• Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work closely with Front-End, QA, and senior developers, participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Support & Troubleshooting: Assist in product releases, ensure compliance, and resolve backend issues to maintain smooth system operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• Minimum of 4 years in backend development with Java (11, 17+)

• Minimum of 2 years in Spring Boot, SQL (Oracle or Postgres) with basic query optimization and indexing, ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate), Build Tools (Maven) and Version Control (Git), Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Design Patterns, and familiarity with TDD practices

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Awareness of endpoint security and deployment best practices (e.g., ACMS)

• Exposure to AI-driven documentation or code generation tools

• Understanding of Agile or Scrum workflows

• Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar CI/CD tools

• Basic familiarity with ReactJS (or similar front-end frameworks) is a plus
