We are looking for a Marketing Business Partner to join our Marketing team in Athens.


The main responsibility of the role is to serve as the dedicated coordinator in supporting assigned Business Units and to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day execution of marketing and communication plans. The role involves close collaboration with the Head of Marketing Business Partners (MBP) and assigned Business Units for strategic guidance, and the Marketing Channels Drivers team (MC) for effective implementation, ensuring the smooth design & operational execution of projects, while providing respective reports & analysis. 

We’re looking for a marketer with a passion for marketing strategy, creativity and a curious mindset with a strong desire to ask questions, seek information, and explore topics in-depth. The ideal candidate will need to be receptive to new ideas, perspectives, and experiences and at the same time demonstrate critical thinking, ability to analyze information objectively, evaluate evidence, and form reasoned conclusions.


You will be working with a talented marketing team to evolve the way we design and implement marketing strategies with a Business - To - Human approach, (B2H) and have the chance to work with many teams across PwC Greece. You’ll be a natural problem-solver, able to understand and interpret complex business issues, and enjoy collaborating as part of a team to jointly deliver impact. Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team

  • Acts as a strategic partner of assigned Business units, collaborating closely with the Head of MBP to understand and align with the marketing strategy and objectives.
  • Clearly sets marketing objectives, “translate’’ strategic directives into actionable plans and initiatives for implementation.
  • Develops and refines marketing plans, ensuring they meet business objectives and target audiences effectively
  • Supports the execution of marketing and communication plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards working alongside the Marketing Channels team for the implementation.
  • Assists in the creation of content and collateral required for ATL & BTL campaigns, ensuring consistency and alignment with established strategies.
  • Responsible for undertaking day-to-day tasks essential for project implementation, liaising with different teams and business units for materials and approvals.
  • Monitors ongoing projects, ensuring they align with the established strategy and meet set objectives and timelines, while at the same time resolving operational issues promptly to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
  • Assists in managing the Unit's budget in collaboration with the Head of MBP and ensures resources are optimally allocated for project Execution.
  • Stays up to date concerning Market Intelligence & Competition monitoring, providing respective reports in cooperation with the Brand & Communications team.
  • Gathers data and information necessary for evaluating and measuring the success of marketing campaigns and provide the team and stakeholders with respective reports and analysis

What we are looking for

  • Strong understanding of Marketing strategy with an ability to comprehend and align with overarching business strategies and objectives.
  • 5-7 yrs working experience in a Marketing Department - Professional Services Marketing and/or B2B Marketing will be considered a plus
  • Strategic mindset to understand the bigger picture, align tasks with strategic objectives, and contribute to the achievement of long-term goals.
  • Creativity, with an out of the box mindset that brings innovative ideas to the table, proactive in bringing solutions to issues and identifying opportunities to add value
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and at the same time pay attention to detail in ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
  • Commitment in delivering results and passion to drive things forward, take ownership of projects/tasks and ensure the timely submission of all deliverables by keeping high quality standards
  • Embracing change and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements, with flexibility to adjust strategies or tasks accordingly and have the ability to work effectively under pressure and in evolving situations.
  • Drive for continuous learning, have strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and find solutions independently or collaboratively.
  • Understanding when to push an agenda and when to let a situation develop, rest or advance; negotiating conflict and problem solving to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze, and interpret data for reporting and evaluating and at the same time have the ability to derive insights from data and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, both in the Greek & English language, to effectively convey ideas, instructions, and feedback to various stakeholders and teams.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams, build relationships, and ensure smooth coordination between different departments.
  • Clear communication style and a team player mentality and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, both physically and virtually, and the desire to support colleagues and contribute positively to group dynamics.
