As part of our Banking & Wealth practice, you will act as a strategic partner to financial institutions: helping them rethink their operating models, reimagine core processes, and commit to meaningful, lasting change. Help us reshape financial services management in Greece and the wider region through work that matters

Make a real impact 

  • Work closely with financial services clients on complex operational and strategic challenges, leveraging your domain knowledge and consulting skills to help them achieve their goals 

  • Conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems including process redesign, operating model transformation, technology enablement, and organisational change 

  • Support clients in defining target operating models that balance efficiency, resilience, and growth 

  • Advise on digital transformation initiatives including digital channel strategy, omnichannel design, digital onboarding, and straight-through processing across front-to-back value chains 

  • Lead workstreams and manage junior team members towards timely, high-quality delivery 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders 

  • Contribute to business development from opportunity identification through to proposal writing and pitching 

  • Collaborate with colleagues across PwC's network to bring the best of the firm to every engagement 

What You Bring Matters 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field from a leading institution (or equivalent professional experience) 

  • 6-8 years of work experience preferably in strategy consulting, management consulting, or within a financial services organisation transformation function / COO area / wealth function 

  • Proven experience leading workstreams or engagements end-to-end, with accountability for delivery quality, client relationships, and team performance 

  • Relevant experience in several of the following areas: 

i) Core banking strategy, review and assessment 

ii) Core banking transformation, modernisation, or migration programmes 

iii)Target operating model design and implementation 

iv) Payments strategy, instant payments, or open banking 

v) Digital transformation including channel digitisation, process automation, or customer experience redesign 

vi)Wealth, asset management, and securities services — covering growth strategy, client segmentation, and propositions, the commercial dynamics of custody and post-trade, and leveraging regulatory change to modernise operating models and sharpen competitive positioning 

  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills with the ability to frame complex problems, structure hypotheses, and translate them into actionable recommendations 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams, providing direction, coaching junior colleagues, and creating an environment where team members can take ownership and grow 

  • Commercial awareness and contribution to business development, including proposal writing, RFP responses, proposition development, and client relationship building 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in both Greek and English 

  • A client-centric mindset with a proven ability to build trust at senior levels 

  • Comfort leading in dynamic, fast-paced and ambiguous project environments — including the ability to operate with autonomy, sound judgment, and resilience under pressure 

  • Strong Advantage: 

  • Master's degree (MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification) 

  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CFA, Lean/Agile methodologies) 

  • Experience working across borders or with regional/global banking clients
