Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions into production environments

· Transform research concepts into robust, maintainable software systems

· Support research and evaluation of new technologies and products to help inform the development of innovative software solutions.

· Evaluate prototype features or components to ensure they meet functional requirements and usability standards.

· Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices to stay up to date with industry trends and team standards.

· Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and participate in testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.

· Participate in product development and engineering activities to help identify issues, propose improvements, and support resolution efforts.

· Support production monitoring and continuous improvement

Requirements

· 4+ years of professional experience as a software engineer or in a similar development-focused role.

· Ηands-on experience with Python.

· Strong understanding of software development best practices

· Practical knowledge of machine learning libraries/frameworks and LLM ecosystems, with an interest in applying ML concepts and generative AI in real-world products.

· Experience or exposure to software design principles and system architecture.

· Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS) and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

· University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to Have

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid mathematical foundation.

· Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, versioning)

· Ability to understand business and customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.

· Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

· Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing requirements

· Experience with retail will be considered a plus
