Translate complex business requirements into scalable BI architectures and semantic models
Design and optimize data models (star or snowflake schema), ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability
Drive adoption and best practices within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Semantic Models, Direct Lake)
Optimize datasets, measures, and reports for performance (DAX optimization, model size reduction, aggregation strategies, incremental refresh)
Ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment with governance standards across reporting layers
Implement data security frameworks (RLS, workspace governance, access control policies)
Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on data ingestion, transformation, and modeling strategies

Practical experience working with Microsoft Fabric:
Lakehouse
Warehouse
Semantic Models
Direct Lake architecture
Strong SQL skills for querying and performance tuning
