As our business is growing, we are looking for a software engineer to join our team.

Description

As our Software Engineer, you will be part of our core development team, aiming to maintain and improve a fully scalable solution. You will be expected to develop key components of our software, take initiatives regarding product coding and effectively collaborate with the rest of the team. If code quality is one of your priorities when writing code, and you enjoy working with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, react.js, python, terraform Postgres and AWS (or similar cloud) stack you will be a great fit.

Requirements

The right candidate should have experience in building web applications, including hands-on development using technologies such as Java, Spring Framework and javascript. The candidate should also have experience in being part of a software development team.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a software engineering role

• Relevant full-stack application development experience

• Proven track record of developing and managing web applications

• Experience in technologies like javascript, react.js, polymer or similar framework

• Combination of high-level education and work experience will be considered a plus

• Demonstration of a deep technical background and willingness to work hard & undertake technical challenges

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek & English

Responsibilities

• Interact with the pm team to develop specifications, functional requirements, and control flow charts

• Develop the application based on design mock-ups and develop the core functionality of the product

• Follow the software development process (Agile/SCRUM, QA) by setting short-term objectives and assessing progress

• Provide quality assurance through testing and analysis of the developed components

• Effectively cooperate with the other developers of the team

• Communicate with clients about technical issues

REQUIRED SKILLS
