procurement specialist (full-time, athens)

Your role: As a Procurement Specialist, specialized in the telecommunication infrastructure, you will be helping our team’s and company’s growth by finding cost-effective deals and suppliers.

How you will contribute to our success:

• Orders of raw materials, consumables, and tools from suppliers.
• Communication and resolution of issues with suppliers and the warehouse regarding delivery matters.
• Monitoring inventory, overseeing assignments, and coordinating deliveries from the warehouse.
• Recording of receipts/invoices and quantity discrepancies in the ERP system (Softone).
• Market research to find better suppliers and reduce costs.
• Coordination of vehicle and machinery fleet and recording of change history.
• Communication with IT and HR for purchases, assignments, and employee benefits.
• Procurement and management of safety equipment.
• Weekly and monthly reporting.

To be a fit you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or similar field;
• 1-3 years previous working experience in Procurement or in a familiar department;
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office platform and ERP systems (Softone);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Good understanding of what factors govern purchasing in the Supply Chain;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Excellent Communication and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work proactively.

Ideally you will also have:

• Master's degree in a related field preferred;
• Additional certification in the field of procurement desired.
