director of portfolio performance

To drive operational excellence across the entire product portfolio, ensuring that each product achieves its P&L targets, key objectives, and roadmaps. This role will be instrumental in maximizing ROI and financial performance while identifying new opportunities for efficiency, scale, and innovation. Role needs to drive “one team” mindset across different pillars to ensure delivery or performance

Reports to VP of Sportsbook Operations. Manages one Head of SportCast Performance directly and needs to indirectly drive performance across Portfolio dedicated teams in Product, Engineering, Data Science and Sports Operations.

• Product Performance:
• Establish product performance KPI’s
• Ensure that each product is aligned with its defined objectives and roadmap.
• Monitor progress against set targets and proactively mitigate any discrepancies.
• Engage with product, development and sports operations teams to ensure clarity on priorities and address challenges to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the overall portfolio performance, but also per “pillar”.
• Make informed decisions regarding portfolio priorities, resource allocation, and investment.
• Collaborate with leadership across all teams to align product strategies with OpenBet objectives.
• Financial Oversight:
• Establish Financial Performance KPI’s.
• Overall accountability for the P&L performance of each pillar
• Monitor key financial metrics, including ROI and return on investment.
• Operational Excellence:
• Establish operational excellence KPI’s.
• Establish an operating rhythm that ensures alignment, quick and informed decision making, risk mitigation and strong collaboration.
• Identify and partner across teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation to explore new ways of working.

• Proven track record in portfolio management or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in analyzing P&L statements.
• Deep understanding of product development and lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience in the technology industry is preferred.
