Athens Medical Group (AMG) in the context of its further development, is seeking to hire: Senior Network Engineer​

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our company's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN).​​​​​​

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain IT network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and business continuity.

• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations

• Monitor - performance and ensure system availability -system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning

• Arranging scheduled upgrades, updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases

• Investigating faults in the network

• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access

• Research hardware and software solutions and create plans, including layouts and product specifications, for all data communication networks projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science

• Minimum 5 years of experience on routing and switching with knowledge of Enterprise LAN/WAN and Data Center technologies

• Hands-on experience on IP routing including TCP/IP and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SDWAN)

• Hands on experience in Cisco Switching, Cisco 2960, Cisco 9000 series and Cisco Nexus

• Network & Security Certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4-7 will be highly appreciated

• Experience in network management and network monitoring tools

• Experience on architecture design of LAN/WAN and VoIP networks will be considered as a plus

• Hands on Experience with Vendor’s Solution FortiGate, Cisco, HP

• Experience working in a team within a complex and fast-paced environment

• Have good problem structuring and solving skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
