As the Digital & AI Director, you will define and lead the execution of OPAP’s Digital and AI strategy, shaping the future of customer and corporate experiences. This role drives digital transformation, innovation, and operational excellence by aligning cutting-edge technologies with business priorities, fostering seamless user experiences, and maximizing value through data, automation, and intelligent solutions.

Your day to day will include:

•    Owning and evolving OPAP’s Digital Ecosystem, driving the vision, strategy, and execution across all digital channels
•    Leading the transformation of business plans into impactful digital solutions, championing innovation and investment
•    Co-defining digital initiatives with key stakeholders, shaping use cases, journeys, and high-level requirements
•    Driving the design of seamless digital experiences, optimizing user interfaces through research, analytics, and user feedback
•    Driving automation and AI adoption across the company, leveraging GenAI, Predictive AI & RPA technologies to boost productivity, customer experience and efficiency
•    Overseeing UX research to align with digital strategy, turning insights into actionable product and design strategies that enhance user experience and drive results
•    Setting up processes and ensuring compliance across Digital & AI operations
•    Monitoring digital trends and technologies to expand OPAP’s capabilities and future-readiness
•    Promoting internal digital innovation and transformation through strategic initiatives and leadership

What you need to succeed: 
•    BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; MSc in a relevant area (e.g., Graphic Design, Customer Experience, Management)
•    12+ years of hands-on experience in leading digital environments, with a strong track record in similar roles
•    In-depth knowledge and proven experience across the digital ecosystem, its operations, and strategic impact
•    2+ years of leadership experience in AI/ML roles, with a solid understanding of advanced technologies
•    Expertise in defining digital strategies and managing large-scale digital transformation initiatives
•    Strong experience in digital solution design and development, from concept to implementation
•    Experience in the gaming industry and exposure to online marketing is highly desirable
•    A customer-centric mindset combined with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement
•    Creative and adaptive thinker, comfortable navigating change and complexity
•    Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and cross-functional projects
•    Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and deliver within tight timelines
•    Excellent communication and people skills, with a focus on influence, engagement, and team development
