For our Headquarters located in Athens City Centre we are looking for an HR Generalist for Greece & Cyprus, who will report to the HR Manager.
Job Description

Key Accountabilities:
Facilitates the recruitment and selection process end-to-end (posting job adverts, screening, interviewing, assessment centers, shortlisting, make offers, hiring procedure). He/she is considered an expert in the recruitment field.
Liaises with Universities and other employment organizations/institutions in order to create pool of candidates that are the best fits for the vacant roles
Organizes recruitment events eg Career Days and is considered the main person of contact
Submits the documents in Ergani and to the authorities (employment contracts, announcement of employment, resignations, end of contracts, amendments, secondments etc) within the deadlines and according to the legal requirements
Oversees the Health and Safety procedures
Manages the HR system to control the clock in/out of the employees, the work schedule and every administration task in order to ensure total legal compliance
Maintains updated the HR files regarding personnel files
Advises timely and in a professional manner stakeholders on HR policies and procedures, safeguarding their compliance.
Remains constantly informed about labour law and updates policies when perceived necessary
Facilitates the onboarding of new employees, the development process and meets with the employees
Supports all HR tasks such as performance management, payroll, reporting, collecting statistical data and other when needed
Completes appointed HR projects in a professional and timely manner
Participates in company events
Qualifications and Competencies required:
University Degree (Master's or Bachelor), preferably in HR Management, Business Administration or Organisational Psychology
1- 2 years of experience on the same role, preferably in Retail Sector
Very good knowledge of Greek labour legislation
Excellent Knowledge of Ergani and HR ERPs (eg Softone)
Fluency in English (preferably Proficient)
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Very good planning, organizational and follow up skills
Team oriented personality
Resilient, adaptable and flexible
Achievement drive, analytical and numerical abilities
Problem solver that can take ownership, be self-motivated, work independently and possess eye for detail
Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
