indian & asian cuisine chef (spata, attica)

Newrest Hellas, one of the leading companies in catering and inflight services in Greece, is currently seeking a Chef with expertise in Indian and East Asian cuisine to join our production team in Spata, at the Athens International Airport area.

The position requires a creative and organized professional who can produce high-quality, authentic Indian and Asian dishes while maintaining consistency and efficiency in a high-volume production environment.

Main Duties:

• Execute daily production of Indian and East Asian recipes according to company standards.

• Supervise food preparation processes ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety policies.

• Work closely with the Executive Chef and production supervisors to maintain product quality and operational flow.

• Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement of taste and presentation.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a multicultural kitchen environment.

Profile

Candidate Profile:

• Culinary degree from a recognized institution

• Proven experience of at least 10 years in Indian / East Asian gastronomy.

• Solid knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Greek.

• Previous employment in catering services, airline catering, or large hotel operations will be highly valued.

• Reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential.
