New York College Thessaloniki seeks to appoint hourly paid lecturers in the following fields of Biomedical Sciences (undergraduate level):

• Biology [Code: BIOLOG]

• Biomedical Scientist [Code: BIOMED]

• Biomedical Engineer Specialist [Code: BIOENG]

• Biotechnologist [Code: BIOTECH]

• Bioinformatician [Code: BIOINF]

• Biostatistician [Code: BIOSTA]

• Clinical Trials Specialist [Code: CLITRI]

Essential criteria of applicants:

• A Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in a related field

• Proven fluency in English

• 2-year (3-year) teaching experience for UG (PG) level

• Experience of course design and use of IT for onsite and online teaching

• Effective communication and time/workload management skills

• Teamworking skills

• Permit to work in Greece (if applicable)

• Valid number of Record of College Tutors (“Mitroo Didaskonton Kollegion”) by the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (info can be found here: https://www.minedu.gov.gr/sxetika-me-ta-kollegia?id=43269)

Desirable criteria of applicants:

• A PhD (or near completion) or extended professional experience in a related field (essential for PG level)

• Supervision of student thesis (essential for PG level)

• More than 2-year teaching experience (essential for PG level)

• Active research portfolio or demonstrated ability and willingness to build one

• Active professional and/ or academic network
