NTT Data Greece team is looking for an IT Security Officer in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector.

You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring security policies and business continuity plans to ensure the protection and resilience of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves developing comprehensive security strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Your Role:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and conduct regular security audits.
• Provide training and promote a culture of security awareness.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate and implement security measures.

Your profile:  

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
• Over 5 years of experience in security management and business continuity planning.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or similar are preferred.
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Proven experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
• Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards related to security and business continuity.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
