Our department team is looking for a motivated Azure DevOps Engineer in Athens to work for major client/s in the European Public sector.

The position requires 50% on-site presence in Strasbourg, France.

Your role:

• Managing Azure infrastructure, scaling environments, detect and identify networking issues, monitor environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and testing.
• Manage containerized environments for deploying applications using technologies such as Docker.
• Set up monitoring and logging solutions for proactive issue detection and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and optimize monitoring and alerting systems.
• Implement security best practices throughout the DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and resolve technical challenges.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and configurations.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.

Your profile:   

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the application lifecycle management within Azure (including Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps CI/CD technologies (GitHub, JFrog, Jenkins).
• Understanding of the IaaS/PaaS implementations in a Hybrid environment.
• Exposure to automation concepts (ARM templates, BiCep, IaC, Git).
• Working knowledge in containerised solutions.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Nice to have:

• Technical Certification in Azure Cloud (AZ-204: AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure).
• Certification in AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions.
• Experience with other major cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift or Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) implementations.
