The Availability and Capacity Manager ensures that IT services meet current and future availability and capacity requirements in a cost-effective and timely manner. This role involves proactive monitoring, planning, and reporting to maintain optimal performance and reliability of IT infrastructure and services.

Your role:

• Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain capacity plans that align with business needs and forecast future resource requirements.

• Availability Monitoring: Monitor system availability and performance metrics to ensure services meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).

• Trend Analysis: Analyze historical data to identify trends in resource utilization and availability, providing insights for future planning.

• Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with IT operations and development teams to ensure that capacity and availability considerations are integrated into project planning and system design.

• Incident Management Support: Assist in the investigation of incidents related to capacity and availability, providing recommendations for improvements.

• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on capacity and availability metrics to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting potential risks and recommendations.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in capacity and availability management practices and implement best practices.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units to understand their capacity needs and ensure that IT services are aligned with business objectives

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, MSP, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).

• 7+ years of experience in IT project/programme management.

• Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT programmes.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile, SAFe).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.

• Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

• You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required).
