Due to the continued growth of our practices, we are now recruiting a Data Quality Engineer for our team to focus on ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data, with a strong emphasis on data quality (DQ) and data governance practices. We embrace the flexibility of our employees, working in a hybrid set-up, providing a home-office budget as well.
Your day-to-day:
- Develop data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor and maintain data quality across various data sources and systems.
- Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Document data quality procedures and standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data policies.
- Perform data profiling to define data elements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Engineering or any other relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in the field.
- Knowledge of relational database platforms and T-SQL
- Experience in using one or more of the followings: Azure Data Factory, Talend, Databricks.
- Understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
- Experience in working with large data sets.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
- Azure Data Engineer certificate (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Insurance Industry.
- Acquaintance with Python/PySpark.
- Experience with data quality and data governance tools (Collibra or equivalent) and methodologies.
