Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a QHSSE Advisor (Offices, Methods, Systems & Reporting), to create, support implementation and review the Annual QHSSE Plan & processes regarding the Corporate Offices, to maintain the QHSSE Standards, Policies and Systems and to coordinate all activities related to QHSSE Reports and ISOs for the companies in scope.

During your day you will:

• Prepare, investigate and review the annual action plan needed to achieve Goal Zero and support in its implementation when necessary, regarding the corporate offices in scope

• Be responsible for raising staff awareness regarding QHSSE, delivering the necessary trainings and conducting regular visits to the sites

• Participate to the assessment of contractors’ selection, maturity and performance, ensuring their QHSSE standards are similar or equally strong

• Identify broken/inefficient processes (derived from ISO requirements, audits, local safety committee meetings) and propose rectifications

• Be responsible for maintaining the existing internal QHSSE standards, policies and systems (including IT) and proposing updates/changes when necessary and for coordinating the process of renewing existing ISOs or obtaining new ones by working collaboratively with external consultants

• Coordinate all actions needed to address Law requirements, new and existing, regarding the QHSSE and the activities needed to comply with all respective directives (National & EU) such as EEOS, Fuels Quality Directive etc.

• Be responsible for preparing or reviewing all QHSSE Reports produced, ensuring all reporting requirements (i.e., ESG, KPIs, Progress vs. Planned Actions etc.) are being fulfilled

• Participate to ad-hoc projects (i.e., Covid-19 response, Digital Workspace etc.) and companies’ meetings (Sales meetings, Avin & Coral Retail Conference) and organize Safety Days for companies in scope

What you need to stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other QHSSE related degree

• Master’s degree in QHSSE related field will be considered a plus

• At least 5 years of working experience in QHSSE related roles

• Proven experience in managing teams and other cross-functional stakeholders as well as in preparing QHSSE reports (preferably, non-compulsory)

• Very good knowledge of QHSSE related ISOs

• Strong working knowledge on Microsoft Office 

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
