We are searching for a Product Design – Mechanical Engineer to be part of the Engineering team, responsible for the design, analysis, prototyping, and engineering documentation of Milkplan’s innovative product offerings.  

More specifically, the responsibilities are: 

• Product design and development: preparing both rough sketches and detailed 3D master drawings and assemblies of new or modifications of existing products using design packages (i.e SolidWorks, Inventor), as well as writing their specifications / product recipes. 

• Drafting / creating 2D manufacturing drawings, BOM and CAM files for company’s products. Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations. 

• Preparing instruction manuals, data sheets and technical proposals. 

• Analyzing customers' technical drawings / documentation, estimating material requirements and costs. 

• Calculate cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors, incorporating costs of labor, material, delivery and overhead 

• Communicating with the production teams to ensure compliance with the drawings, resolving design issues and incorporating knowledge gained into future drawings. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar position 

• Proficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor and Microsoft Office 

• Good knowledge of English 

• Strong organizational and analytical skills 

• Very good communication skills 

• Mind-set for problem solving
