We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our IT & Digital Strategy team, based in Athens, Greece.

In this role, you will act as a technical lead in SAP FICO implementations, contributing to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Group’s SAP ecosystem, while ensuring strong alignment between business requirements and system solutions.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Lead and contribute to SAP FICO implementations and upgrades, working closely with Business Process Owners and external partners across the full project lifecycle.

  • Act as the internal technical lead for SAP FICO initiatives, supporting project delivery and ensuring alignment between business requirements and system solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, including customization and integration topics, while implementing preventive controls to ensure system stability and quality.

  • Coordinate and oversee SAP system integrators, acting as the primary liaison between business users and vendors.

  • Provide expertise on SAP FICO application architecture, continuous improvements, and best practices within the SAP ecosystem.

  • Support solution documentation, user training, and RFI/RFP/RFQ processes for SAP solutions and services.

  • Ensure compliance of SAP solutions with corporate policies, procedures, and governance standards

 

What you bring to the role:

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of SAP FICO functional experience, including participation in at least two full-cycle projects, ideally in SAP S/4HANA implementations.

  • Working knowledge of other SAP modules and their integrations will be considered an asset.

  • Knowledge of ABAP will be considered an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex system analysis, root-cause investigation, and issue resolution.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to meet timelines while balancing business priorities and constraints.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
